Food Safety

New York Apples Sales is at the forefront of quality and food safety initiatives in New York State. 

We have established standards that must be met by all growers and packing facilities including requiring that all of our:

growers pass third party audits, such as Global Gap or USDA, that cover orchard safety, worker welfare and safe growing practices;
packing facilities to adhere to strict safety audits, such as BRC, Primus, or SCS, to ensure that our consumers have total confidence in every piece of fruit we deliver.
