A Family Farm in the Hudson Valley Since 1899

Started in 1899 when John Henry Fix emigrated from Germany and settled with his family in the heart of the Hudson Valley, Fix Bros. Fruit Farm is 130 miles north of New York City and has expanded over the years to grow apples, peaches, pears, sweet and sour cherries, all of the highest quality.

  • John Henry’s son William Henry joined in the family farming tradition
  • William Henry’s sons Bill and Bob became an active part of the operation in 1953, creating the Fix Bros. name
  • Bob’s sons Bobby, Gary and David became partners with their father as the fourth Fix family generation on the farm
  • The sons purchased an adjoining farm and planted additional acreage
  • Pick-your-own apples, peaches and cherries are very popular with local residents and tourists
  • In 2004, the Fix Bros. farm was featured in a Pride of New York advertising campaign
